Problem: The Head of the Hooch has grown significantly in the number of rowing participants over the years to be one of the largest rowing regattas in the country. The Chattanooga CVB hired Signal Multimedia to bring national attention to this world class event.
Solution: As a newly formed Chattanooga Public Relations Firm in 2009, Signal Multimedia worked to maximize media coverage of Chattanooga's Head of the Hooch Rowing Regatta. Working with the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chattanooga Outdoors, and Head of the Hooch teams, Signal Multimedia was able to secure very strong coverage in the Chattanooga media including cover of the Times Free Press three times, cover of the TFP FYI section, every local TV station covering multiple days and several radio and magazine stories. Additionally, Signal Multimedia worked secure coverage by the USA Today, Weather Channel, Atlanta Journal Constitution and Associated Press. The AP article was picked up by 50+ outlets.
